Rivian just told their customers that the light would finish in the Ocean Coast is more challenging to produce and the company is also focusing on getting new models with Black Mountain and Forest Edge interiors to customers sooner. The company also said that they will send you delivery estimates for every pre-order holder in the coming weeks.

Perhaps to offset the disappointment of another delay for their customers, Rivian’s CEO just showed off a new feature that’s going to be available to every customer as standard following a new software update coming in the future called sand mode, and it will be really useful for people that want to go off-road.
There’s also a pet mode for the HVAC system and a dash Cam support for their Gear Guard security feature coming soon.
