To be able to use our products or avail our services, you'll need to set up a Xetarev Account. You can do so by clicking on the "Sign in" button on the header.

Xetarev is an indie technology company. It builds software products, runs a design and development studio, maintains an internal experimental workshop, and publishes writing on technology. Those four things are not separate businesses — they are four divisions of one entity with a shared identity, shared infrastructure, and a shared standard for what gets shipped.

What Xetarev Builds

Apps

Consumer and utility software built to last. Products ship under xetarev.com/apps and run at [product].app.xetarev.com. Each product gets its own subdomain — breathing room and brand identity, while staying visibly tethered to Xetarev. The current flagship is Amnor. The Apps division is where Xetarev's SaaS ambitions live.

Xetarev Studio

The services arm. Bespoke design, brand identity, web and software development, and strategic consultancy. Studio engagements are selective — the front door is xetarev.com/studio. Private client access goes through xetarev.com/studio/go.

Xetarev Labs

The internal workshop. Experiments, web toys, and realized projects that don't fit neatly into the Apps catalogue. Individual projects live at xetarev.com/labs/[project]. Labs is where the craft gets sharpened and where ideas get built for the sake of building.

Outreach

Content and ambient presence. Technology writing, opinions, announcements, and social channels. Posts live at xetarev.com/posts. Xetarev started as a technology blog — that history gives it a narrative and credibility that predates its products.

Xetarev Account & Identity

At the infrastructure level, every Xetarev product and every app built on Xetarev's platform shares a single identity layer: Xetarev Account.

Xetarev Account is a Federated Identity Provider (FIdP). It is not a login page — it is the authentication and authorization backbone that all Xetarev products, third-party integrations, and commissioned client applications run on. A user signs in once. Every app they access through Xetarev inherits that session, that identity, and whatever permissions have been granted.

The mechanism that makes this work on the client side is xetaPixel.js — a lightweight runtime SDK embedded in every Xetarev-connected application. xetaPixel.js validates tokens, establishes sessions, periodically refreshes trust, checks authorization state, and brokers permission requests for third-party utilities like Google Drive on behalf of the app. Apps do not handle OAuth flows, token storage, or permission UI themselves. Xetarev handles it. The app receives a scoped reference to the user — never the user directly.

Retained identity. Users live in Xetarev permanently. Apps receive a scoped reference to the user. This is a fundamentally different ownership model from conventional authentication providers.

For B2B Clients & Developers

Xetarev's identity infrastructure is available to third-party applications via the Xetarev Pro Suite — a developer console where registered developers manage their SDK credentials, API keys, application configuration, and FIDP approval status.

The free tier covers applications up to 1,000 MAUs and includes hands-on onboarding. Beyond that, pricing is $2 per 1,000 MAUs. There is a one-on-one screening process before any application is approved. This is not a formality — it is how Xetarev maintains the integrity of the identity network.

Applications commissioned through Xetarev Studio can integrate the FIdP layer at reduced cost. In those cases Xetarev becomes the identity provider for the client's end users. Clients retain the right to export user records at any time. Those users remain Xetarev Account holders.
