The premise here is simple yet major. Instead of forcing non-technical operators to wrestle with complex SQL queries, dbt models, or expensive enterprise dashboards they barely understand, this agent plugs straight into heavy hitters like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks. It actually respects your existing semantic layers and metric definitions, meaning you get real answers rather than hallucinated guesses wrapped in corporate speak.

What catches my eye isn't just the ability to type a question and get a chart back. It's the execution layer. Being able to spin up an interactive dashboard on the fly, map out next steps, and push action items directly into Slack or email bridges the frustrating gap between looking at a problem and actually fixing it.

Of course, the heavy lifting hasn't disappeared. Someone still needs to write the semantic definitions, manage access controls, and ensure sensitive tables aren't leaking where they shouldn't.
