iFixit will soon sell repair components for the Steam Deck

When the Steam Deck was launched by Valve, we all knew that DIY repairs would be a lot easier than a lot of other modern electronic products out there, and it really seems like they are making sure they live up to the expectations we had for them. Well, iFixit just published a list of components they are going to be offering for the handheld gaming device offered by Valve.

Although Valve is still going to be selling parts that they consider as upgrades, as if you only 64GB or 256GB model, you can still buy the 512GB variants display to get the anti glare screen that comes with that version of the handheld gaming device, which is really great than compared to every other company out there it really seems like Valve is the only one who’s trying to make it better for the consumer.

Currently, iFixit won’t sell replacement batteries as they say they will offer that at a later date. Other parts you won’t be able to get include the touchpad, face buttons and most of the components are reasonably priced as you will only need to spend $20 to repair a broken Thumb stick. Although the motherboard does cost a whopping $350.00.
