Meta will add home spaces to Horizon Home on Quest 2

Starting next week, Meta will now add more social-oriented home spaces to the Quest 2 Horizon home. The company did announce this at an Oculus event last year. Users can just slip on the VR headset and they’ll be able to invite friends to come over and hang out, watch videos and play games as well. This is part of Meta’s version of the Metaverse and this is a shared virtual space where folks can do everything together along with Horizon Worlds and Horizon Workrooms.

In a video shared by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, they showed the option to wash 360-degree footage with friends as Zuckerberg showed off the feature with climber Alex Honnold. Both of the two figures went ahead and watched the soloist VR, which is a film that features Honnold free climbing the Dolomite Mountains.

Quest 2 users will now be able to check out Horizon home and the miserable-looking Virtual Home Office starting today. Users can do this only if they are comfortable using the public test channel right now.
