LinkedIn is now expanding their live studio features

LinkedIn is now expanding its clubhouse-like live studio features as they are looking to draw more creators to its platform. The company first launched the live audio events feature in January and they are now going to be opening up hosting capabilities to every creator out there. With this new update, every LinkedIn creator who uses the creator mode on the platform will be able to host live audio events as long as they stay in line with the Community policies of being a trustworthy, safe, and professional provider of the content. Although even posting is only limited to creators, every LinkedIn user will be able to participate in the chat.

Very similar to clubhouse, LinkedIn creators will be able to schedule their video events in advance and will be able to share the upcoming talks with their network. The company says that creators are already using audio features to expand their professional networks and connect with potential clients and reach new followers. Video-centric life events are also in the works, although LinkedIn hasn’t given any update on when that will launch, and if it does, It will be useful for creators and professionals seeking to grow their network.

This expansion comes as LinkedIn has significantly cranked up its efforts to become a more creator-centric platform. The company says that more than 10 million people are now using the creator mode offered by the platform as it’s nearly double the 5.5 million users who were using it in March. LinkedIn is also now trying to help creators broaden their reach as the company is tweaking the way creator profiles and their content appear on search results and involves LinkedIn feed as well. It will make it easier for people to find and follow them.
