Google just introduced lot of new features to Classroom & Workspace to improve life for users.

Even though a lot of students out there have now returned to in-person classes, this is not stopping Google from making online education a lot more viable as the company has just updated Classroom and Workspace for Education with a lot of new features that will improve life for teachers and students.

Some features include users being able to Auto-transcribe Meet calls directly into Google Docs. Users will also be able to host Poles and Q&A sessions And live stream public events to YouTube and use picture in picture to manage class presentations without losing sight of students.

Teachers that use Classroom will get access to extended functionality as users will be able to get add-ons like EdPuzzle and Pear Deck. With new updates, it will also be easier for adding Youtube videos directly into lessons and Exporting Grades, and getting updates via email. Google is also expanding access to their Read-Along app as they are rolling out of beta for a new web version over the next month, so students might not be needing to lean onto their phones as they improve their literacy skills.
