iOS 16 just got a new life-saving feature for users

Apple just unveiled a great new feature with iOS 16, This new feature could potentially be life-saving for some users. Apple will soon allow you to take back messages you didn’t want to send with the upgraded messages app on iOS 16 which is getting a new “undo send” feature with the ability to edit chats you’ve already sent and mark threads as unread.

This new message recalling and editing features will only apply to recently sent chats with a 15-minute window for making changes as well. Also, everyone in a thread will be able to see an indication when a message is edited or unsent.

The company is also giving significant upgrades to dictation and the ability to automatically add punctuation to longer messages while giving users the ability to dictate emoji characters. Users will also be able to multitask between the keyboard and quick-type suggestions while using dictation to make it easier to tweak certain messages.

Apple is also building on the improved great new sharing features introduced last year with iOS 15, as the company is adding share play to messages so friends will be able to watch videos and listen to music together while chatting.
