Elon Musk now says we need more oil and gas, whatt?!?

Elon Musk, the multi-millionaire who founded Tesla devoted their entire existence to getting rid of gas-guzzling cars on the road. But even though Elon Musk works very hard to make sure that electric cars are the future of humanity, He tweeted late Friday: “Hate to say it, but we need to increase oil & gas output immediately. Extraordinary times demand extraordinary measures.”

In the same tweet, continuing with a thread, Elon Musk also said, “Obviously, this would negatively affect Tesla, but sustainable energy solutions simply cannot react instantaneously to make up for Russian oil & gas exports,” he added in a follow-up tweet nine minutes later. He’s likely referring to the world’s notable dependence on Russian pipelines — a dependence which hasn’t stopped many governments from sanctioning Russia following its invasion of Ukraine but has sparked fears over surging energy prices, particularly in Europe.

It’s not very easy to tell if Musk is just trolling or putting plans to action when he posts tweets. so we don’t know if he means this or not.

Elon Musk does like gasoline as a while back SpaceX wanted to drill for natural gas on land near their facilities in Texas. ’cause, you know, rockets don’t fly on electricity, they need fuel.
