Coinbase just made their first Super Bowl debut with or markable Clever QR code That was very popular. This new ad campaign from CoinBase, called “less talk, more Bitcoin” Has temporarily knocked out their air following the ad airing during the broadcast of the Super Bowl.
This 62-second ad consisted of a bouncing colorful QR code which was very close to the bouncing DVD logo which is very iconic as you might have known it from the memes. When a customer would scan this QR Code, it brought the viewers to their special promotional website offering a limited-time promotion of $15 worth of free Bitcoin to new signups including a $3 million giveaway that customers could enter.
This offer is a limited-time one and new customers do have till February 15th to get this $15 promotion, This is currently an issue because their app is still down due to the massive number of people from the clever ad that brought them there.
Other cryptocurrencies companies are also President in a huge number at this year’s Super Bowl. As many companies like crypto.com are thanks to using the Big Super Bowl game to promote their cryptocurrency exchanges and NFTs or other web3 or blockchain-related projects.
Many other companies like Meta were very quick to tweet and post Coinbase outages as their ad debuted. Meta Quest account tweeted that their bouncing QR code linked out to the companies Foo Fighters-led VR after party that they planned for after the game.
Well, we kind of think that this outage from Coinbase’s end increased their publicity as many media companies including us, are posting about them boosting their revenue and sales and many other competitors of Coinbase that are dissing them are technically giving them more web presence and publicity.
