Twitter has brought NFTS to profile photos, This is stupid.

This feature that Twitter has brought out is still under active development. Twitter is giving NFT enthusiasts a new reason to pay for a Twitter blue subscription. they are testing a new feature allowing you (an NFT user/ Collector) to authenticate NFTS displayed on your profile photo.

This feature is being offered as a beta testing kind of feature for Twitter Blue subscribers. This feature allows Anyone to connect their crypto wallet to their Twitter account which will allow them to display an NFT as their profile photo. (This is the Golden Age for those monkey NFT people)

Currently, many NFT owners on Twitter upload their own NFTs as their profile photo, But when you get Twitter blue for yourself and upload your NFT, The Twitter blue feature will apply an icon to your profile photo indicating that your NFT has been authenticated and you are the official owner of that piece.

Right now only Twitter Blue subscribers can access this feature and the authentication symbol will be visible to everyone on Twitter. Also, other users will be able to tap on the hexagon symbol to know more about the NFT in the profile photo.

Recently, Twitter faced some criticism from a tweet from Elon Musk saying that he does not like the idea of showing an NFT profile picture. After he saw a pop-up for the NFT thing on the Twitter app.

Twitter has already said that they were working on an NFT authentication service, All know that this feature will be available to Twitter Blue subscribers first. Well, that’s fine But we still have our own opinions, and we still think that an NFT is just a JPEG image.
