In a blog post on Wednesday at Emma Williams, VP Corp of modern work transformation at microsoft announced that they were introducing a walkie talkie ability in teams on all mobile phones. They also said the feature would come to some zebra devices such as struggled phones or scanning devices, which may even have a button for you to press to connect instantly like real walkie talkies.

According to them, the number of frontline workers using teams has grown 400% from March to November last year, so bringing a walkie talkie feature for this app for mobile devices really seems to address challenges.

It’s not just Microsoft doing this thing though, Apple also came with this functionality in the Apple Watch back in 2018. Well this is not a very new of a thing.
