Must Read: Is the Future going to be Good or Scary?

With the world moving forward and with the digification of things and our lives being like literally 70 percent online nowadays, kinda makes you think, what’s the future ahead? Well that’s a question no one knows but we do know what changes we can go through and how the world is about to change within the next year, here’s 5 tech trends that are going to define our future in the next year.

AI everywhere

Today, smart means powered by AI, machine learning algos that help us in really innovative ways. Cars use face recognition algorithms to make sure you’re paying close attention to the road ahead and alert you if you’re tired.

Smartphones use AI to do almost everything, like the simple Google Assistant/ Siri, maintaining call quality, for better computational photoggraphy, and apps that use AI to help you do almost anything, the ever growing internet and super-fast networks, are here to give us capabilities we didn’t have before.

The no-code revolution

No-code interfaces are getting more popular as lack of programming knowledge, and a detailed knowing of statistics and data structures

OpenAI – a research group established by Elon Musk and funded by players like Microsoft, recently revealed Codex, a programming model that can generate code from natural, spoken human language. With this kind of tech moving forward, the creators of the future, we’ll be held back less by technical know-how stuff.

Virtualization

In the previous years, most people worked at home at virtual workplaces. This was a surge of a longer-term trend. In 2022, we’re all becoming increasingly familiar with the “metaverse”. Inside these metaverses we will be able to work, play, socialise and live. These metaverses will simulate the real world with better accuracy, and this will become a part of the future.

This is my opinion but the metaverse and everyone of us living in a digital cutom bubble of ourselves could be bad for society and humanity in general.

Sustainable energy

During the pandemic, renewable energy was the only form of energy that saw usage increase. Worldwide, all non-renewable energy usage decreased as industries shut down and people stayed at home, leading to an overall reduction in emissions of 8%. This led to increasing investment into generating energy from renewable resources and will be growing in the following years.
