Introducing Loop: Microsoft’s Game-Changing Notion Competitor

Back in November 2021, at the company’s Ignite conference, Microsoft Loop was originally introduced. The online collaboration tool now appears to be the focus of a major announcement that Microsoft is about to make. The Loop logo, what appear to be cartoon eyeballs, and the statement “Something is coming” were all tweeted in the first tweet since the official Microsoft Loops Twitter handle was created over a year ago.

This could be a teaser for a statement confirming that the Microsoft Loop app will soon be made available to the general public in a preview. In October 2022, Microsoft released a private preview of the Loop app. Whatever the announcement, we anticipate hearing it sometime this week. Users of Microsoft 365 will be able to communicate and share material in real-time using Microsoft Loop, which uses the Fluid Framework open-source platform. Users would be able to access anything related to their project from a single workstation, according to the plan. According to the official website for Loop, there will be three parts to this service:

  • All significant project components should be grouped in Loop workspaces so that you can see what everyone is working on and follow the development of joint objectives.
  • Loop pages: Use these flexible canvases, which can expand to fit the size of your ideas, to organise your Loop components and other crucial project components, such as links, files, and data.
  • Loop elements: Work together on projects using Loop components. Collaborate together on a Loop page, in a chat, email, meeting, or document to edit lists, tables, notes, or even a Dynamics 365 customer sales opportunity.
