Here’s all about LG’s MoodUP refrigerator, that changes color

If you leave the door open for too long, the panels will blink constantly. They will also flash a friendly greeting when someone approaches. Additionally, the freezer door will shine brightly at night “to aid midnight snackers in finding and opening the door” (never stop, LG). It offers a blend of grey and white for a more conventional appearance when the LED panels are off. Additionally, it has an integrated Bluetooth speaker that can be used with computers or mobile devices. If you want the LED panels to change colour in time with the music, you can have it play songs from the LG Music Collection playlist that go well with the chosen colour scheme.

The purpose, it would seem, is to create “a sense of vitality and fun” by converting your kitchen into a disco. Using LED panels, LG’s MoodUP refrigerator changes the colour of your kitchen. There aren’t many details available about the refrigerator, but it appears that LG offers both a conventional, single-door model and a wide, four-door one with two freezer compartments. Both models appear to be side by side in the top picture. Enhanced voice recognition is available in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Although LG didn’t mention it in the news release, several PR images appear to feature the company’s “InstaView” camera/display technology as well. There is no information about pricing, but LG will start showcasing its “Dios Object Collection MoodUP” refrigerators tomorrow at IFA 2022 in Berlin.
