Google just upgraded Chrome with a new AI to keep you safe

Google has always been using machine learning and AI technology to improve its product lineup, including Google Chrome. And using the same technology the company is now making the browser a lot safer to use as Google just rolled out a new machine learning model that sits on your device and will detect 2.5 times more potential phishing attacks. This is going to be helping a lot of users protect their data from phishing attacks and hackers.

The company is also getting rid of annoying requests by certain websites to send you notifications, although these notifications are useful a lot of times, you will be very irritated by some of them, and Google Chrome will now help you get rid of them. Google Chrome is currently able to predict when a user won’t really grant a website permission to deliver page notifications and then block them automatically. But from the next version of Chrome, you will get a machine learning model on a device that will handle these predictions.

Google is also going to be using machine learning to make the Chrome toolbar a lot more useful depending on what you’re doing at a given moment, as it might highlight of voice search option if that’s something you do regularly or will add a sharing option if you tend to catch up on the news and share it with your friends.
