Google Cloud gets more expensive, time to Ditch?

Cloud infrastructure normally gets very cheap over time, but Google Cloud is changing the trend by increasing the prices across the entirety of its core services. Google’s excuse for increasing these new prices Is that they want a more flexible pricing model and options which will be going into effect October 1st.

Although it’s not all bad news as The company is increasing their free Internet address from 1GB per month to 100 GB per month. But a lot of core storage features like multi-region nearline storage will see increases of 50% only. Operation pricing for Google Cloud scored line storage Class A will get doubled from $0.10 to $0.20 per 10,000 operations.

We are also going to be seeing a price increase As Google is applying an outbound data processing charge of $0.008 to $0.012 Depending on their region. Google says that they are doing this to be aligned with other leading cloud service providers.

All Google Services and Google Cloud especially already suffer from people perceiving that it will shut down almost anytime randomly, even though the customers depend on it. And trust me, Google is not doing anything to make it better by increasing their Cloud prices.
