OnePlus 10 Pro snaps in half in the durability test, weakest device ever?

JerryRigEverything broke the phone. This new device, called the Oneplus 10 Pro is out in China, and while it has a lot of flagship specs like a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a 5,000mAh battery, it turns out It’s one of the weakest phones on the market. JerryRigEverything also known as Zack Nelson Put it through their usual durability tests and when they pushed on the middle of the phone to try and bend it, it snapped in half.

See for yourself — the bend test for the portion of the video starts at 6:57 (and that’s where the embedded video below should begin) When Zach pushed the Oneplus 10 pro, the back glass did begin to crack and many of the cracks appeared under the phone stovetop like the camera bump. But when he pushed again from the other side, those cracks turned into a full-on break, causing the entire top part of the phone to fold over.

According to Zack, entering this year with two phones And one of them is already broken, and the fact that Other folding phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 didn’t even break as this device did makes us realize how weak this is. After this device was broken, Jerry rig everything turned off the rest of the back glass to get a look inside of the phone, and this phone did snap right above the battery and it also seems like one plus placement of the battery cell whose top edge is lined up with the folium button on the side helped create the perfect conditions for them to crack it in half, This is a major design flaw, and it’s another #bendgate

Although it’s very unlikely that an average user will try to break their phone, it seems like this device was not maintaining its structural integrity because of the frame of the device which was very weak. Also if you keep your phone in your back pocket and set a lot, This device can be something that can easily break in that kind of condition.

Although one plus isn’t the only company to come under scrutiny for the easily bend bending devices, it seems like they did not work a lot on structural integrity with the internal design and it contributed to this major design flaw allowing Zack to break this device.
