Well this game Wordle, is the game we didn’t know we needed. It is very much a hyped game and was created by Josh Wardle, For their Partner As a game for the pandemic. They did take it public later and it became a very hyped game because it was something that did not Lure players into playing more and was just one word a day.

Well, a few days ago The New York Times bought out this game from Josh Wardle at a low “7 figure price”, Well, that was very profitable to Josh But there is a huge possibility of the New York Times possibly ruining the game and making it some kind of subscription-based game as they do with all of the other word games in their library.

But a technologist, Aaron Reike, Did explain on a Twitter thread that you could download a complete copy of this game to your device. (This way the New York Times won’t be able to possibly ruin it for you) Well, you might ask why you can download the entirety of the game. The thing is Wordle is a web page and web pages can always be saved. The Wordle webpage runs on client-side code which does help with load time, but it does significantly help with running it offline.

All the components in the game are intact when you save the web page and view it offline. You can just go ahead and check it out yourself (We do not recommend you to do any of this as it could be Infringing copyright) Well, you can just right-click and save the web page on your Windows PC and you will get a complete copy of Wordle on your desktop. Just like any other web page, you can just save it and every other day it will load a new word. The normal version allows you to keep the previous progress, but this offline version won’t be allowing you to do that. Again, we are not recommending you do this.
