Well, Apple has taken back an unpopular change. Previously, Apple used to give away Their products with discounts For students. Although not a lot of students did avail of this discount and offer because Apple only accepted And when it was authorized by their educational council. (And not a lot of Universities were on Apple’s list of discounts)

But now the company has introduced new rules that require shoppers to prove that they were studying to get discounts on Apple products. Apple also no longer requires US customers to verify their status following major pushback.

While UK customers previously had to verify Apple education purchases through services like uniDays or Student Beans; In the US No verification was needed to qualify for these discounts on any Apple devices.

On top of verification for the students, Many customers are limited to one desktop, one Mac mini, One Mac Book, two iPads, or accessories per year. This limit still appears to be right there, even though this verification requirement has been lifted.

Apple has not released any public statement about the reversal, but many tests show that the West customers no longer need to verify who they are to qualify. It remains unclear why Apple of all companies has taken this step or if they are working on a new verification program. (If so, The people who are buying stuff with a discount are getting big bonuses)

So yeah, it’s a pretty good thing. And if you are eligible, you could just go ahead and buy something maybe?
