Apple has begun requiring their corporate and store employees to submit proof that they have received a COVID-19 vaccine booster.

Their policies require workers to provide proof that they’ve received a booster within four weeks. Employees trying to dodge the booster requirement will have to submit to frequent COVID-19 testing to enter Stores or offices.

Due to new warnings of the emergence of highly transmissible variants like omicron and more, A booster shot is now also part of staying up to date with your COVID-19 vaccination to protect against severe disease.” Apple said in an internal email obtained.

Starting on January 24th, unvaccinated Workers will be required to give a negative COVID-19 test result before entering any workplace. It is still unclear if the requirement applies to both corporate and Retail store employees.
