Google might be coming up with a folding device, is this going to be the best one yet?

Google released the second beta version of Android 12 L yesterday. Allowing anyone with a recent Pixel phone to try out the post-Android 12 system update. These releases have notable additions like a picture-in-picture split-screen shortcut.

A new clock option and also an animation that could resemble an upcoming Pixel phone. A folding pixel phone. Nine to five Google discovered animations. Which supposedly were from a Google Pixel folding device. will it did have those creases on a rectangular screen like the galaxy fold and also a folded version of the same screen on the outside with the google logo onWill it did have those creases on a rectangular screen like the Galaxy fold and also a folded version of the same screen on the outside with the Google logo on the center. It certainly was a Google Fold device.

Nine to five Google also notes that these animations were added sometime between the release of Android 12 L beta one and beta two and that there are differences to the pit code name which is linked to the in-development folding pixel.

These animations Should not be taken very seriously because Google reportedly canceled production of the folding pixel phone back in November. So even though these animations are new, they could be based on the hardware that already changed.

Historically, device mockups in the Android operating system are also not a great source of information about upcoming devices. These new folding animations are slightly different. Story considering they are not visible in the operating system, but you still Shouldn’t get excited quite yet.
