TikTok is now working on a music streaming platform

TikTok has always helped every user they serve with discovering Current and past musical artists and now they might just start their music streaming service as bite dance, the parent company of TikTok, has just filed a trademark With the US Patent and Trademark Office for “TikTok Music”. The service will let users buy, play, share and download music songs, albums, lyrics, or live stream audio and video edits while uploading photographs as the cover of playlists and comments on music songs and albums.

Bite dance already has a music streaming app called Resso But the service is only available in India, Brazil, and Indonesia right now and it has some of the features mentioned in the trademark filing like playlist, song sharing, and community interaction.

The trademark application was first submitted in Australia and then filed in the US on the 9th of May. It’s still not clear if the company intends to base such service on resale, but it does have to demonstrate that it will use the trademark before applying for it in the US, so it’s not just a placeholder. The company has also described that you will be able to live stream audio, video, and interactive media programming in the field of entertainment, fashion, sports and current events, and many other possible use cases.
