Get ready for a very appealing upgrade to the cheapest iPad

Apple is now probably trying to bring a brand new refresh to the cheapest iPad. According to many rumors out there, Apple is Now getting rid of the Lightning port in favor of USB-C connections and now with this move, the entire iPad lineup will be featuring the same connector. We just cannot say what triggered the company to bring USB C to their device, as it could probably also have been the EU that was been nudging them to switch to USB C on every device.

There’s also a new, bigger 10.5-inch display coming with the iPad base model, We hope this is an OLED Retina display. There’s also going to be a lot more power packed into the device with an A14 bionic chip that will be powering it and will be 30% faster than the current A13 processor that’s available on the current base iPad.

Finally, cellular models will be the first to support 5G connectivity. This is going to be a very big leap toward how everyone perceives their lowest-end iPad, as it currently costs $329, but we do expect to see a price hike with more, better features like a better screen, USB C and A14 as well. If you are looking forward to buying any of the cheapest iPads either the latest version that is rumored or the current version, We recommend you wait till the next generation is revealed as it will result in a price drop in the current iPad as well.
