Apple’s latest Watch will be able to tell you if you have a fever.

The upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 will reportedly include a body temperature sensor that will probably be able to warn you when you are coming down with a fever. The Apple Watch Series 8 won’t provide an exact reading, but it will send a notification prompting users to see a doctor or use a dedicated thermometer.

According to industry experts, Apple has been working on this feature back from June 2021, and it likely will arrive with their 2022 Apple Watch lineup. While having a new body temperature sensor on the Apple Watch Series 8 Apple might also be coming up with a Rugged addition to the Watch.

Other changes to the Apple Watch Series 8 will probably be very minor, and the new watch might also have the same processing power as a Series 7 or Series 6 watch. Higher-end models will probably have an updated display.
