This new Ionic 6 is their upcoming EV, totally inspired by the Prophecy Concept EV they showed off in 2020. The car retains a lot of futuristic elements from that car without looking like it was a prop made for a science fiction movie. The car has a lot of clean lines and it’s very aerodynamic as it should be as an EV in the modern world. The car is built to have an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.21 which is a lot less than most modern cars that have an average drag coefficient of 0.25 or 0.3.

On the inside, the Ionic 6 has a cocoon-shaped interior that’s trimmed using sustainable materials like eco process, leather, or recycled PET fabric for the seats. The modular platform for EVs enabled their designers to stretch the dimensions of the car while giving it a completely new flat or for more legroom and space.

The car also has a great entertainment and navigation system with a modular touch screen dashboard with a 12-inch touch screen display and a 12-inch digital cluster. The company hasn’t announced the specs of the EV, But to give an idea of how the company might deliver the new, better car, The Ionic 5 which was the previous version has a 72.6 kWh battery that delivers up to 300 miles of range while boasting 320 horsepower, 446-pound feet of torque, and the capability to go from 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds.
