Here’s all about the DIY Playstation 5 Slim version made by a YT creator

As a tradition, Sony normally follows up their PlayStation consoles with the slim version a few years later down the line after they launch the original version, but that time has not come for the PS5 yet, we are waiting for it though.

Well, a Youtuber named DIY Perks already built one for himself, because he just couldn’t wait for the time the company would come out with one, so he built a solid system. He took apart the standard PlayStation five, replacing everything that needed to be replaced, and got rid of their console’s bulk. After that, he stripped out every component and replaced it with different cheaper and smaller versions, including some parts he made himself, including the casing. The result he came up with was just 1.9 cm thick and it was cool.

Putting the power supply and the cooling system that currently comes with the PlayStation wouldn’t help make a slim version of the PS5. So he built his water cooling system and put the power supply in a long slim external case that can be placed behind the TV where it wouldn’t be noticeable. Unfortunately, you won’t ever be able to get your hands on the unit because the guy’s creation is one of a kind and you probably won’t ever be able to replicate it.
