When you’re shopping for a memory card for your dashcam, longevity is something you might like and look for! Samsung just introduced some of their longest-lasting cards yet, it’s their next-gen Pro Endurance microSD cards that can record continuously for up to 16 years for the 256GB version.
The previous lineup of microSD cards Samsung offered typically lived up to 5 years [and it’s better than average] The cards read up to 100MB/s and write 30MB/s, you’ll be able to record 1080p or 4K footage. The cards are also resistant to drops, magnets, water, extreme temperatures, and X-rays.
This lineup of Pro Endurance cards is now available at $11 for 32GB and $55 for the 256GB model. The relatively low maximum storage might be disappointing if you want to preserve a large amount of video. However, it should be plenty for dashcams, bodycams, and other cameras where reliability is vital.
