Lincoln’s first EV concept is the Star SUV and it’s hella futuristic

Lincoln just unveiled their first EV concept, and it’s very clear now as to where the company is going to be heading with this new revelation as they just unveiled the Star, a luxury SUV hinting at the design direction for production eaves at Lincoln.

This car is so much sleeker and better looking than the existing lineup Lincoln currently offers. This car includes cool-looking light-up exterior features and doors, the front trunk [or Frunk] is covered with electro-chromatic glass and it turns transparent while the car’s in motion. The A-pillars and D pillars even used 3D-printed metal to allow more natural light into the car. [All of this makes it seem more like a concept rather than something Lincoln could start making]

Lincoln isn’t sharing a lot of specifications of this car, although it’s not very surprising as the company doesn’t intend to sell this and it’s just a concept. But it does give us a good look at what they are interested in & where the company’s headed. Well, it seems like the automaker won’t take a lot of time to electrify as the company Is planning to launch EVs by 2026, expecting more than half of their sales to come from EVs only.
