Sony’s WH-1000XM4 has been one of the best Bluetooth headphones you could buy since they were released in 2020. This headphone has a very long-lasting battery and an excellent noise-canceling capability, but now it looks like the company is updating this headphone with a substantially new design. Sony’s next upgrade for these headphones will allow them to go up to 40 hours on a single charge, and if this information is accurate, it’ll be a very significant improvement from the already impressive 30 hours you currently get on a single charge.

But the most notable difference between the successor and the predecessor seems to be an entirely new design, as it looks like the XM 5 won’t fold in any way. We don’t know anything about the release date or pricing for the WH-1000XM5, it currently retails for $350.00 and it could probably be more expensive with the next generation as it is getting more substantial upgrades.
