Twitter is getting a status update feature

Twitter is copying a lot of messaging apps out there as the company is now developing a “Vibe” feature this feature will now let you set your status updates very similar to what you could do on Instagram Threads. You’ll be able to set your status at the profile level, but you will also be able to attach them to specific tweets to indicate where you were doing at that specific moment.

The example shown by Jane Manchun Wong only shows generic presets like eating, listening to music, and shopping. We’re also not very clear if you’ll be able to have the option of changing these updates to what do you like best [Which could be a big possibility]

The concept of this kind of Twitter status update isn’t very new, as the social networking website was testing another, different kind of status update back in 2018. Although they didn’t work the same way it does now and never really reached everyday users or followers.
