You can now hide your Seen status from specific contacts on Whatsapp

It very much seems like WhatsApp is going to be rolling out another overdue feature with the latest beta release of what steps iOS app as the company just released an option that allows users to limit specific individuals from looking at their ‘last seen’ status.

If you’re not familiar with this feature on WhatsApp, it’s a feature that indicates when someone last checked the app. Well, WhatsApp iOS beta 22.9.0.70 now has a new option under the Last Seen section called “My Contacts Except…”.

Adding an individual to this list also prevents you from seeing their status. WhatsApp is also possibly implementing more privacy controls for both profile photos and about sections on WhatsApp. The feature is now in beta testing on both Android and iOS.
