Google has released their “Switch to Android” for iOS on the App Store countering Apple’s “Move to iOS” app on the play store. This app is meant to help iPhone and iPad users import contacts, photos, calendars, and videos to an Android device. Also showing users how to turn off I message in favor of Android messaging and transfer photos or videos by connecting directly to iCloud.

Google hasn’t made a very big announcement or any new statements about this app as on their switch to Android website, this app is still not mentioned and it’s only found on the App Store with a direct link right now. This app is a very big improvement as currently, the system requires you to backup photos, videos, and calendars or context using the Google Drive iOS app.
Apple’s “Move to iOS” Android app arrived way back in 2015, it seems like Google did take a lot of time to respond to this. “Move to iOS” Works almost just the same way as it helps users import photos, videos, messages, and any other data directly to an iOS device.
