Meta is announcing more user monetization tools as the company announced that a select group of creators out there will be starting to create digital items and effects that they would sell directly within their virtual social space in Horizon worlds. Now users over the age of 18 in the United States and Canada will be able to purchase these goods in the virtual space, Creators will also be making items that they want to sell by tapping the Commerce tab and gizmo within the app’s creative mode. Meta says that they are launching this as a test with a handful of creators to get feedback.
Creators participating in the rock monetization platform will have to follow the guidelines that the company has outlined in the prohibited content policy, also the companies leave moderation up to the users as anyone can report and make any issue known to the company.
These tools rock has announced, will meld the company to put in place the building blocks for the vision of the Metaverse Zuckerberg presented at Connect 2021. It’s also really easy to see how these tools will help the company build on its ambitions around NFTS.
