After years now, the DeLorean Motor Company Has just announced that they are going to be unveiling an all-electric vehicle on August 18th saying that they would share the official name of the vehicle then. Details on this concept car are currently very minimal to none, but the automaker did share that they worked with Italdesign. Also, considering what the company shows on its website, this vehicle will feature the iconic gullwing doors of the DMC12.

Also, just making it clear that the company making the DeLorean EV is not the same company that produced the DMC12. The DeLorean Motor Company of Texas is known for restoring vintage DeLorean vehicles, billing themselves as the largest source of parts for the defunct brand that made the original car.
