WhatsApp is making it easier for people who send and listen to voice messages. The company just added a bunch of new features (although very basic features) Users will now be able to pause and resume when recording a message and listen back to it before sending it.
Users will soon be able to listen to messages outside of chat, so you can multi-task easier. Also, another basic feature that WhatsApp did not have, If you pause during the playback of an audio message, WhatsApp will remember where you left off, and when you return to chat, you will be able to listen to the rest of it. A waveform visualization could also help you fold the recordings as well, WhatsApp has also given users the ability to speed up playback on regular and forwarded messages by 1.5x or 2x.
These features aren’t groundbreaking, but they would help better the voice message experience on WhatsApp. According to Mark Zuckerberg, people send 7 billion of these messages every day.
