If you are in the market for a Google Assistant-supported lamp, you will be very disappointed to know that Google did make one, but it’s only for Google employees. Ben Gold, A designer at Google did tweet an image of this lamb cleverly called it the Dlight and ofcourse it’s a delight, And they also said that it will never be for sale outside of the company.
This ultra-modern lamp does have a circular base at the bottom and a thin post that houses a cylindrical light. The way this thing is designed, It very much looks like something that would be suited very much at an Apple store. As noted by Ben, This light can be moved to different positions or while letting you point the light downwards towards your desk or your face during video calls.
The documents of this lamp do indicate that it has Internet connectivity and also good support for Google Assistant. Well, you won’t be able to see any USB C port in any of these images. Ben does say that this device comes with A USB C charging cable and it also gets over-the-air updates. Well, surely none of us can get our hands on this device because only the people who are employed by Google Get their hands on This device. Well, this isn’t the first time Google has made A product exclusively for their employees, In 2017, Google also developed a pair of headphones Which were pretty cool but weren’t available publicly.
Gold also said that the employees in the United States can get this device totally for free. While most Google employees still aren’t able to return to the office due to the pandemic, this is one of those things that’s cool for the employees to have.
