Samsung Galaxy S22 Series smartphones are going to be made with ocean recycled plastic.



 there’s a new trend with Many tech companies nowadays. They are very much willing to be environmentally friendly. In the name of environmental friendliness, Apple removed the charging brick from their phones and now all the other companies are following them “For the environment”. It’s just pure money-making, but At least they are doing something. 

Reportedly, Samsung Galaxy S22 series’ boxes are going to be made from recycled materials. The Chargers for these phones are going to be eco-friendly and Apple has also set a goal to make the iPhone recyclable. 

Last year, Samsung announced that the instructions and packing would be made from raw materials and would not harm the environment and they did intend to recycle materials for Reuse. Reportedly, Samsung is going to be making the materials for the Galaxy S22 series made by discarded fishing tackle.

They said that they have developed a new material that combines sustainability and innovation to reuse ocean plastic in various Galaxy devices. They also said that it is based on marine fishing Nets and it is also designed to minimize the impact on the environment. (Honestly, a pretty good thing)

The company did note that they would use marine plastic across Their entire product line, Starting with the Galaxy devices that will be revealed at the Unpacked event on February 9th. You can check out this box design for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Along the way, it does look very bad because of the various shades of gray. Their main emphasis was the S embossed in the middle, But considering environmental friendliness, it is a good thing.
