This was exactly the thing Mark wanted. Jeremy Bailenson studied VR for many decades, last year the professor felt that they could actually teach in VR. The founding director of Stanford’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab. Bailenson Taught more than 260 students in his virtual class. It explores various aspects of VR (IN VR!!!) Well, it’s certainly a lot better than Zoom. Avatars participated in discussion panels in VR, and they did create a project for the course, a full-fledged metaverse that others could visit.

Bailenson has always dreamed of teaching and VR. They said to CNN business. He recently thought that the headsets were cheap enough. The Meta Quest two which Stanford purchased in bulk for this class, starts at $299 and the software was great enough for them to Create and attend classes there.
Many students also did say that zoom as a way to communicate was very terrible and a pain point also limiting them from what they could do, The entire VR industry is arguably going to be killing Zoom (And zoom-like services) and if they don’t make a move And go with the flow, It might be the end for them.
VR is also not just being used in college classes, but Starting in February, other Schools will also start offering a VR session once a week. Even though this technology is getting cheaper, it’s still not cheap enough for many other schools to get this technology and implement it.
Bailenson Is not the only person doing VR classes. There are more people all around the world making classes online via VR. This is going to be the future ahead and with the Metaverse and Web3 coming and more people joining in, It seems like the future Is in VR.
Well, VR is going to change how people learn, and learning in a virtual environment feels less virtual. This is the upcoming future.
