Here’s how to install the iOS 15.4 public beta.

Well, there have been many exciting features announced for the next version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 15.4. Cool features like the ability to use face ID with a mask and to use some cool emojis. And if you cannot wait, you can just test them in the first public beta available right now. Sounds cool, huh? Here’s how you can get through these steps for installing the iOS 15.4 public beta software (Just letting you know, Be ready for encountering many possible bugs inside of the OS)

We suggest you backup your device’s data in case anything goes wrong. (This is a public beta feature and you are taking the risk of your device. Getting wiped or many features not working) Also, you won’t be able to use the face ID feature with a mask if you don’t have an iPhone 12 or newer.

So here’s how you do it.

  1. Had two Apple’s beta software portals on your browser, and agree to sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Click on “Get started” and select “Enroll your iOS device”
  3. Scroll down and click on The button that says “Download profile”, This button will trigger the safari security system and you will get a warning that says the website is trying to download a configuration profile. You can just select an allow and then you will get a pop-up that says that you can set the new profile from the Settings app.
  4. Go on the Settings app and there will be a new section called “Profile downloaded” You can just click on it and you have access to the beta software download.
  5. After you click on it, just select install on the top right corner and you will have to enter your password and agree to a consent statement by tapping install one more time.
  6. You probably will need to restart your phone for the new profile to activate. And yeah, you did it.

That was simple. It is always simple to download it and install it on your device, but it’s never that simple when you encounter bugs or other issues in the OS that you didn’t possibly imagine there would be. Well, we hope you’ll just think about it before installing the beta software.
