As you would have been updated by now, Microsoft just bought Activision Blizzard. They purchased Activision Blizzard for nearly 70 billion this week and they Completely shook the entire gaming industry.

Another thing that everyone is wondering is that, as Microsoft bought out Activision and they own Xbox of course, and Activision owning Call of Duty is also a fact that we can’t deny, this game is a banger and as Microsoft owns Call of Duty, many people were wondering if the game will still stay active on Playstation, it is a game that lots of people adore and Xbox being a rival of Playstation, everyone was wondering if this game would still be available on Playstation.

In a statement on Twitter, Xbox and Microsoft Gaming head Phil Spencer said, “Had good calls this week with leaders at Sony. I confirmed our intention to honor all existing agreements upon acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation. Sony is an important part of our industry, and we value our relationship.”

As we know right now, the wording in these statements is pretty vague, and we’re also not sure how long these agreements will last. This could mean that the current versions of Call of Duty are available for the other platforms and that they could be making the next updates and versions for this game available with the Xbox Game Pass or some other way to make this exclusive for Xbox or PCs.
