Ongoing U.S. tariffs are continuing to disrupt the gaming industry, with Analogue being the latest company affected. The company announced that its long-awaited Analogue 3D—a modernized version of the Nintendo 64—won’t begin shipping until late August.
Analogue cited “last week’s sudden tariffs” as the cause of the latest delay. However, it reassured customers that it will cover the additional costs, and preorder prices will remain unchanged. This update was shared in a post on X.
This isn’t the first delay for the Analogue 3D. Originally available for preorder in October 2024, the console was first expected to ship in early 2025. That date was pushed to July in a March update, though no explanation was provided at the time.
Tariff changes have forced many gaming companies, including Nintendo, Sony, Razer, and Anbernic, to adjust prices, availability, or launch schedules in the U.S. as they respond to shifting regulations.
