Apple still needs to fix an issue in iOS 16. When you attempt to copy and paste text between apps, the business will fix the frequent permissions prompts. According to Huang, this is “totally not expected behaviour.” The manager admitted that others were addressing the issue even though Apple didn’t recognise it internally.
Huang didn’t offer a patch’s release date. Apple hasn’t specified a release date for iOS 16.1, but it is already testing beta versions of the software that may contain a repair. The issue is only the most recent in a string of issues that have plagued iOS 16 since its release earlier this month. Owners of the iPhone 14 Pro have voiced concerns about the camera shaking while using certain third-party apps and being unresponsive when sharing data from another iPhone. Even iPhone 14 units that couldn’t correctly enable FaceTime or iMessage required a day-one fix from Apple. Operating system launch issues are obviously common, but these have been more annoying than usual.
