Ford will take Mustang Mach-E 2023 orders now

After the 2022 trims sold out, Ford will start taking orders for the Mustang Mach-E for the 2023 model year. As of August 30th, you’ll be able to order one of the EVs. Ford has also disclosed certain adjustments to pricing, range, and other aspects.

The extended range battery in premium Mach-Es intended for production starting this fall will have a planned EPA-estimated range of 290 miles on all-wheel drive variants. That is a 13-mile boost in range. Meanwhile, all trims now come standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 driver assistance technology. You can get the Mustang Nite Pony package if you choose a Premium model with an extended range battery or the GT Performance edition. For Premium grades, this adds high-gloss black 19-inch wheels, a black pony badge, black door cladding, and black mirror caps on the grille. The GT Performance version receives 20-inch high-gloss black wheels and a black GT emblem as part of the package. With this package, you can still choose any exterior color option.

There will be two additional colors available: vapor blue metallic and carbonized grey metallic. They take the place of frosted blue silver and dark matter grey. Going forward, the California Route 1 specification will only be offered with AWD. Prices of the Mach-E are increasing for new orders starting on Tuesday, as is the current trend in the auto industry and many other sectors. This, according to Ford, is a result of “substantial increases in material costs, ongoing pressure on key supply chains, and quickly changing market conditions.” The price hikes range from $2,600 to almost $8,000. The Select rear-wheel drive standard model of the Mustang Mach-E will therefore start at $46,895 MSRP (without the delivery cost and taxes).
