The PlayStation 5 will now support 1440p resolution

The PS5 now will support 1440P at least for gamers with access to beta software. Currently, the console only supports 1080P and 4K resolutions up until now but a good middle ground at 1440P is also a much-requested feature by many players who use monitors instead of TV’s. It’s a very popular choice for gamers who play on their PCs.

Gamers can now enjoy the full benefits of 1440 P rendering if the game that they are playing supports the predetermined resolutions. But if they are playing a game that supports 4K, they could also benefit from the feature because the option will downsample the visuals for 1440P output and which will lead to sharper images. In addition to 1440p, the latest beta software also gives users a way to create game lists in their game library to better organize all the titles that they own. Players will also be able to create up to 15 game lists with 100 games each. Their in-progress activities will now be shown prominently at the top of the game hub when they resume a game as well, and they now request party members to share their screens so that they can watch their gameplay as well.
