Twitch is testing a new feature that will allow users to be introduced to new streamers that you haven’t seen before. The new feature is called channel Switcher and it shows random channels as a carousel on the bottom of the screen when you click on any of those channels, you’ll be able to watch a one-minute preview of the content the streamer puts out and it likely will give you an idea of what kind of content the streamer offers and you will then be able to subscribe to them.

According to the company, this feature will make it easier for users to figure out if they would like a specific channel before committing. According to a spokesperson at the company, only a very small percentage of randomly selected users who are logged in will get the chance to test out this feature, the company does plan to then end the test in July and analyze the results and then determine if this feature will get a wide release. Alongside this new great feature of the company is also announced another different feature called Guest Star, which allows up to five guests to join a host in a stream. And it works very similar to the clubhouse in that streamers can include other streamers and viewers in their broadcast as well.
