Apple is now adding great new functionality to their Apple Pay service, as the company announced today during WWDC 2022. This feature is going to be allowing users to split the cost of purchases into 4 equal payments over 6 weeks without any interest and late fees when making purchases. With Apple Pay, you’ll now be able to see a new interface that will give you the option to either pay for a new item in full or overtime.

If you go ahead and pay for an item over time, you will have to make one partial payment upfront with three more to follow every two weeks thereafter.
As part of iOS 16, Apple is also introducing new enhancements to the wallet, as you’ll now be able to get the ability to share digital hotel keys with others, including those with Android phones as well. This feature will be supported by mail messages and WhatsApp, among other apps.
Apple is also adding an in-app ID verification, allowing users who live in states where you can store a digital version of your photo identification card to use that information for verification purposes.
