Although it was sad they delayed it in 2021, Daedalic’s cinematic stealth adventure game “The Lord of the Rings: Gollum” just got some updates that’ll make you happy if you’re someone who’s been waiting for the game. It’s officially arriving on September 1st, the company announced today!

The game explores the untold story of Gollum during the first few chapters of the Fellowship of the Ring. The company did not release any new footage of the game in action yet, but this new cinematic trailer does give us a great idea of the stealth gameplay we can expect from the game when it launches.

Also, just like any other story-driven game, you’ll be able to make distinct choices. You’ll go between Gollum’s more desires and their kinder Hobbit self, Smeagol. You will have to hide a lot, but you will have some great ways to torture enemies.
