Apple just announced Pride month themed watch bands, we LOVE it


As we know, Pride Month is just a week away and Apple has just announced 2 new Pride-themed watch bands the first one is a take on the company’s classic Sport loop style.

As you can see, the watch band incorporates the iconic LGBTQ+ flag, The band also includes a very slight nod to the company’s history as Apple employed as the outward-facing part of the bend has the word written in the cursive style very similar to the one that the company used for their signature Macintosh Hello greeting in 1984.

There’s also a pride Edition Nike Sport Loop featuring the original rainbow colors in between black Stripes, also coming with a matching Nike bounce face. Both bands are now available to purchase for $49 starting today from the company’s website, with retail availability to follow on May 26th.

Apple says that this new watch face will combine colors to represent the strength and mutual support of the LGBTQ plus movement, and the threads of the watch face move as you would turn the wearables digital crown. Tapping the display raises your risk to wake the display. Also, side note, it’s great to see Apple supporting the LGBTQ community.
