The Tesla Semi truck might just become reality very soon as the company has just started taking reservations for the big rig. You will have to place a $20,000 deposit or $15,000 by wire transfer. Also, Tesla hasn’t narrowed down the launch beyond the expected 2023 production window, and it’s still very notable when early commitments have largely been limited to bulk orders from the likes of Pepsi Cola and Walmart.

The Tesla semi-truck was unveiled in 2017 alongside the second-generation Tesla Roadster, the company wanted to end conventional trucking with the maximum 500-mile range and Megacharger top-ups with a 20 seconds 0-60 mph time with 80,000 pounds loaded. The truck is still expected to start at $150,000, making it very viable for our companies wanting inner city haulers.
Considering the truck had a pretty great launch and it’s coming pretty soon, the Tesla Roadster, on the other hand, didn’t go according to the plan, as the company has still delayed the car for a while now and they have also moved the production timeline a lot farther than what they promised in 2017.
